The aim of this course is to enable the delegate to install, configure and troubleshoot systems running the Windows 2000 operating system.

Course Prerequisites
Delegates should have a good understanding of Windows NT4 operating system, plus some basic networking knowledge i.e. TCP/IP.

	Describe the main Windows 2000 products and list the key product features
	Install Windows 2000
	Setup directory services using the Active directory administration tools
	Setup and control access to shared devices
	Add and control printers
	Use Windows 2000 in a mixed NT4 environment and a pure 2000 network
	Use group policy to install and manage application software
	Install and setup DHCP and Dynamic DNS
	Manage dynamic disk drives
	Use the recovery console to troubleshoot and carry out maintenance tasks
	Recover active directory on a multiple domain controller network using emergency repair and Backup/Restore
