Delegates should have an understanding of Windows 2000 Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking and Windows 2000 Terminal Services or have attended either the Windows 2000 M.C.P. Course (A1009) or the Advanced Administration Course (A1010) and the Windows 2000 Terminal Server Course (A1013) |

Course Objectives - On completing this course delegates will be able to:- |

| Describe the features and benefits of Citrix Metaframe XP and the differences between XPs, XPa, and XPe. Describe, plan and install Citrix Server Farms Install and customise I.C.A. thin client software, and set-up clients on a variety of operating systems including Windows based terminals (Winterms), win32 clients and UNIX clients. Install a client deployment server to automatically update I.C.A. clients. Create and publish applications to users and groups. Add new Citrix Metaframe farm administrators. Manage Citrix servers and set-up load balancing. Monitor and tune the Terminal Server's for maximum performance Set-up and monitor Client and Server printing Set-up and use applications via NFuse and install a separate NFuse server. |
